Popsicles have become a staple in our house, mostly because they're super easy, you can pack them with superfoods, and they still feel like an awesome treat all around.
This is also a fantastic way to get your kids being creative and involved in the kitchen, and everyone benefits!
Below are the recipes. All you have to do is pop them into your blender, then pour into popsicle molds. I start with just the basics, then offer some examples of things you can add in to make it extra awesome. These are entirely suggestions, and would love it you played off the ideas to make your own! It's so easy to get creative here!
Orange Creamsicle
1/2 c coconut milk
2 oranges, juiced
2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla
option: add fresh ginger or turmeric
Strawberry Kiwi
10 Strawberries
1/2 c coconut water
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 kiwi, sliced
option: 1/2 tsp spirulina
Coffee
1/2 c strong brewed coffee
1/4 c coconut milk
1+ Tbsp maca powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
option: 1 Tbsp collagen pwdr
Fudgesicle
1 avocado
1/4 c cocoa powder
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 c coconut milk or cashew cream
option: 1 tsp chlorella or spirulina, probiotic powder
Raspberry Hibiscus
1/2 c raspberries
1/2 c strong brewed hibiscus tea
1 Tbsp maple syrup
options: 1/2 tsp chlorella, 1 tbsp collagen, 1 tbsp acai berry powder, 1 tbsp goji berries
Lemonade
2 lemons, juiced
1/2 coconut water
1-2 Tbsp maple syrup
options: 3 tbsp strong brewed lavender tea (or other medicinal tea), 3-4 whole raspberries per popsicle, 1 tbsp grated ginger
Pina Colada with Mint
1/2 c coconut water
1/2 pineapple
zest and juice of 1-2 limes (taste it!) 7-10 mint leaves
options: probiotic powder, spinach, collagen powder
